About my Blog:
Welcome to my Blog, and thanks for stopping by!
Miles of Molly was recently started as a place for me to document and share: meals, recipes, fun outings, running adventures, race recaps, time with my family and friends, and anything else I feel like writing about :). I had been wanting to start up a blog for the longest time, and even tried a few times, but the timing was never right during the school year. Once Summer started I knew I no longer had an excuse holding me back, hence the birth of my blog :). I try my best to live a healthy lifestyle that includes fresh nutritious foods, and lots of sweaty workouts. But, it’s all about balance, and I can definitely do some damage on reese’s cups and ice cream from time to time. I hope you will join me on my journey to improve my running, discover new workouts, and attempt to be a chefinista. You can expect to see tons of posts that include my sweaty workouts and nutritious meals pop up pretty frequently! I am still new to the world of blogging and I feel like I am always learning something new, with that being said, I fall more in love with it everyday.
My name is Molly, and I am a 19 year old rising Junior at East Carolina University, but I live at home (Gaithersburg, Maryland) whenever I am not in school. My major is Elementary Education, and I absolutely love working with kids, and knowing that I am helping them to develop and grow. Often times during my practicums this year, I felt like I was in those AT&T commercials “We want more, we want more, when you really like something you want more!”. I can’t wait to be having these conversations with my own students daily when I become a teacher :).
Heres a little bit more about me: I have a love/hate relationship with running, and really enjoy races. I have ambitions to become a half- marathoner. My favorite animal is a Racoon… Yes, a Raccoon. I love my Dog. I try to be a chef. I am a die hard Redskins/Caps/Orioles fan (it is possible to love a D.C sports team and a Baltimore sports team at the same time). Although, the Nationals are a close second favorite. Sometimes I choose curling up with a good book over going out. I believe that peanut butter is God’s gift to the this Earth. I love: mimosas, mascara, frozen yogurt, headbands, chipotle, and smoothies.
I hope you enjoy my blog, and stay a while!
